Miscarriage Flowers—A Testimony of Ghost Giving

Miscarriage Flowers—A Testimony of Ghost Giving

I miscarried a few months ago, so when these showed up on my porch today, I didn’t really know what to think. And there was the nicest hand-written note on the back of a Ghost Giver card. I’d never heard of that. So here I am. A new testimony of ghost giving. And I feel like it’s God’s hand, a little bit because I don’t know whose handwriting it is, and a little bit because these arrived on what would have been my baby’s due date. And I don’t know who all knew that. Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. But God did. And those little yellow flowers remind me of the sunflowers we painted in the nursery. I’m not sure I’ll ever forget this day or this gesture. I wish I could thank you in person, but this will have to do. Thank you a million times to the person who remembered. Who let God move in them. And who did something when they didn’t have to. My husband and I will remember you forever. RIP Olivia Marie, 4/7/24
