I’d never even heard of “Ghost Giver” until someone mysteriously left this on my desk last week. At first, I just smiled at the idea. I mean, I love cats, so it was pretty perfect. But then I read the message. It was so thoughtful, and unexpectedly kind. Honestly, it was exactly what I needed. It’s been one of those weeks, and knowing that someone not only noticed but took the time to do something special for me meant the world.

And is it killing me that I have no idea which of my coworkers was behind it? Absolutely. But more than that, I’m just grateful for the effort. Someone actually went out of their way to think about me, and that kind of kindness is pretty rare. So now I can’t help but want to pass it on. I’m officially taking the leap into my first “ghosting,” ready to brighten someone else’s day the way mine was brightened!!
