Warm Weather Shipping Information
(Or how to help your gift arrive looking as good as it should!)
Gifting sweet treats in warmer weather takes a little extra care. Chocolate, caramels, and gelatin-based gummies are heat-sensitive and may melt or lose their shape when temperatures rise above 75°F. Even with fast shipping, a gift may spend time in a warm delivery truck or be left outside on a sunny porch.
To help preserve the quality of the gift, we offer an optional insulated shipping upgrade that includes:
- A cold pack to help maintain a safe temperature
- An insulated thermal liner for longer-lasting protection
- Greater peace of mind that the gift will arrive in great condition
This upgrade is highly recommended when shipping to warmer climates or during hot seasons — especially in states like California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, or the Southeast.
What to Know Before Sending a Gift
- Cold packs generally stay effective for 24–48 hours. We recommend shipping to an address where someone will be available to accept the package.
- Without this upgrade, we cannot guarantee the condition of heat-sensitive gifts upon arrival.
- Melted, sticky, or deformed items are not eligible for replacement or refund unless insulated shipping is selected.
- For destinations over 90°F, overnight or expedited shipping is strongly recommended.
